Does your horse know when it's time to trainâand when it's not?
Â
A well-structured pause system is the foundation of smooth, frustration-free training. This deep dive will help you teach your horse when training is âonâ and when itâs âoff,â creating clear communication and a reliable system to start active training from.
We will give loads of practical example of how this looks in the real world and present exercises for you to do with your own horse. You can join both with your horse or as a spectator.Â
JOIN DEEP DIVECreate a stronger foundation for relaxation and connection.
We will go through exercises and techniques that:
Â
- Prevent over-arousal and food anxiety
- Reduce mugging, crowding, and frustration
- Help horses transition smoothly between training and downtime
- Support self-regulation and emotional balance.
- Gives your horse ways to communicate preferences.
- Calms the too invested horse and motivates the less invested or insecure one.
- Â
Having these points in check helps deepening your connection and gives your horse a voice and a choice early on in the training.
